Picturing the Perfect Wedding
I have been thinking a lot about what my perfect wedding would be like. Remember I never had a wedding, my husband and I eloped 20 some years ago. I have this pictures created in my mind that if we ever renewed our vows, this is what it would be like.
So close your eyes and picture this.
Sunset at the beach, waves crashing into the shore, an arch decorated with peonies and hydrangeas. Simple white chairs with a white runner separating the bride and groom side. Ribbons dancing and swirling in the wind. My wonderful husband standing at the end of the runner waiting for me. I see our three beautiful daughters in their gorgeous sundresses smiling at me beaming with love. I see all of my friends in their beach attire and then I look down at my wedding dress and I see nothing. LOL!!!
No, I am not nude, but I am very indecisive when it comes to the type of wedding dress I would like. I know that since it is in my mind taking place at the beach, I would not want any of the long sleeve wedding dresses. I think I would go with something like one of these casual wedding dresses.
I so can see this as a possibility. I have also found these beachy wedding dresses as well. I think any of these choices would be an awesome dress to wear. Of course, you can never tell how a dress will fit in a picture.
So tell me what is your idea of the perfect wedding?

Oh, it is fun to dream… Beach weddings are always beautiful, but they can be cold! (At least here on the west coast). Thanks for sharing your dreams and being a super star of a co-host at the #HomeMattersParty 🙂

Life With Lorelai
We almost eloped! We ended up getting married in front of 23 friends and family members on the pier where we had our first date. Our “reception” was at Bahama Breeze (the restaurant) and then we left for Aruba the next morning for a week 🙂 When we came back, we threw a big part for about 300 of our friends and family LOL I thought THAT was perfect! I think the perfect wedding is different for each person – I can’t wait to see what you do for your vow renewal! Thanks for sharing your ideas, and for being a fantastic #HomeMattersParty co-host!
