Five Friday Smiles

Five Friday Smiles

Wow, here it is again another Friday. The weeks are just flying by before we know it will be Christmas and the start of another new year. Today’s Five Friday Smiles is a very special one because it falls on my youngest daughter’s birthday. Y’all I can’t believe that I no longer am a parent to a teen. Yep, that is right my baby girl turns 20 today so that brings me to the first of my five Friday Smiles.

GRACIE

I have awesome relationships with all of my girls but Gracie gets the smile this week because she is my partner in crime and she is turning 20. Look for a reel on Instagram soon. I can’t wait to share where she picked to go for her birthday dinner. Gracie is the most creative of the girls and she has a tender heart for animals. When Gigi came to live with us, we thought she would be a family dog but nope Gracie is her person. So join me in shouting from the rooftop Happy Birthday Baby Girl.

Getting My Hair Done

I don’t know about you but I love for someone else to wash my hair. And because my scalp is so white I go once every 4 weeks to get my roots touched up because if I didn’t it would look like I have no hair. Which is the exact opposite of what I do have? Plus I absolutely love my hairdresser she is amazing.

Chick-Fil-A

The Chick-fil-a in our town has been closed since February for renovations. We used to eat it at least once every few weeks. I love their Market Salads. So when hubby called saying he was working in another town that had a Chick-Fil-A I immediately asked him if he would bring home dinner that night. Mind you this is the same one that was mentioned here.

Meeting with Blogging Clients

Did you know I do one on one consultations with those either interested in blogging, want to start a blog, or have a blog and want to take it to the next level? I had one of those clients on Tuesday and we met for over 2 hours. We talked strategy and I taught her a few things. I am always so fired up after these meetings. And wouldn’t you know it that was the day the rainbow appeared over the blog cabin?

Rainbows

Yep, I mentioned it in the above paragraph and I will mention it again. I love when rainbows appear because it is a sign of the promise God made to us. I am learning more to enjoy nature and be present in the moment and stop worrying.

In conclusion, there are many things that make me smile. I am grateful for the good and bad moments in my life because they have all made me who I am today. Every day, I find something to be happy about, and I am grateful for the little things that bring me joy. I invite you to find the things that make you smile and to be grateful for them. Thank you for reading!

Until Next Friday!
