I was lucky enough last week to attend Trifabb‘s 5th Annual Holiday Party at The Flourish Market. Although it feels like I have been a member of Trifabb for years, this is only my second year. But this is the first holiday party of the holiday season that I was able to attend.

Last year. something came up and I couldn’t attend. This year I wasn’t going to let anything stop me from attending. Why? Well, one because I love attending Trifabb events. I have met so many new bloggers through them. And the second reason was that it was held at The Flourish Market’s brick and mortar store. You may remember I wrote about The Flourish Market here. But now they moved from a fashion truck to an actual store.

Emily, the owner of the store is just an amazing person. She stocks her store with ethically made brands. To read more about Shopping with a Purpose check out this guest post.

I will tell you that I am totally in love with this store and the idea behind it. I mean just look at these pictures. How can you not be?

While we were there Emily gave us a cool tutorial on how to photograph items (aka flat lays). I really learned a lot and teamed up with some amazing people for this challenge. We were broken up into groups of 4 or more. I was teamed up with Laura from 27 Words, Angela from The Ultimate Fashionista, Tiffany from Pretty Real Blog and Rachel from GoldRach.

This is what ours looked like. We actually got second place in the little contest. If you are wondering about the tips don’t worry I will be writing a blog post about that later.

I will have to say that The Flourish Market is a store that I so could get into a lot of trouble. I wanted to buy everything. But I did end up buying this beautiful cardigan and tunic.

I totally wore it the next day with this Knotted Fringe necklace, I bought from Emily back in the summer at our meetup at Vita Vite.

So tell me what do you think of my purchases? And how do you celebrate the holiday season?
