Y’all my baby girl’s wedding is less than a month away. It is starting to get real. But it is also so exciting. A few weeks ago we had our month out walkthrough with Chelsy from The Gathering Co. I honestly didn’t question why it happened on July 2. I just thought that with her busy schedule, that was the only time she could do it. Not knowing, I had a surprise in store for me.

With all the wedding prep and my daughter getting her Ph. D in California, you can imagine how much time we spend on Facetime and how many texts we exchange throughout the day. So I was stressing big time on whether or not my phone would have enough service to Facetime Maddie and Lex at the walkthrough. I didn’t need to stress because I didn’t know that Lex’s best man was getting married that week and that they would be home to surprise us and attend their walkthrough.

So with Maddie and Lex on the West Coast, and everyone in the Wedding Party on the East Coast, you can imagine how difficult it is for everyone to communicate with each other. So we decided that instead of texting everyone individually we would do an email newsletter. The newsletter gave everyone the details of the Rehearsal dinner. We also included the hotel information as other wedding-related details. Using Paperless Post was the obvious choice.

Not sure what Paperless Post is? Well, it is a company that designs customizable online stationery, to show that communication can be personal and well-designed regardless of the medium. And I will have to say when she sent it out. I was so impressed with the design she picked. Even Chelsy, our wedding coordinator, who was included in the email letter, said: “It was beautiful.”

So if you are looking for a way to communicate with a small group or maybe even a larger one Paperless Post is the way to go.

  1. I had not heard of Paperless Post but we used electronic invitations for our wedding and completely loved saving the money and time on sending out paper ones. Best wishes to your daughter for her wedding!
