10 Fun Bacon Recipes
Yesterday, I shared with you,  my fond memories of my mom and dad in the kitchen together cooking for us. My dad was always given the task of frying the bacon. Which seemed appropriate since he was the one bringing it home. 🙂
Bacon was and still is one of my favorite food items. There is nothing I love better than a BLT sandwich (Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato), but the bacon has to be crispy. There is nothing I hate worse than biting into a BLT and the bacon be mostly fat and undercook.
I have even tried a bacon donut at one of the meetups TriFabb had back in January. I know bacon on a donut who would have thought that would be good. I first heard about a bacon donut from an episode of Two Broke Girls. And I finally got a chance to experience it.
But before I get to the recipes, here are five fun facts about bacon.

But that got me thinking, what are some other ways a person can cook with bacon. Here are some bacon recipes I have found.
- Bacon Lettuce Avocado Tomato Chicken Wrap – Avocado and Bacon together. This is so a recipe I will be trying soon.
- Bacon Breakfast Casserole– I think this will be one of the next meals I make.
And I can’t forget these recipes: my bacon wrapped pineapple bites, and my PigSkin BLT Dip. And of course, Allie doesn’t want you to forget your forget your fur babies so we have these Bacon Treats.
