Happy 7th Anniversary BoneFish Grill

I was invited to attend this event at the Bonefish Grill. For this event, I was only supposed to do social media but I just felt that they deserved a blog post. So here you go.

The closest Bonefish Grill near me is in Greenville, NC. I will have to say that I was surprised to be invited to an event in Greenville because, most of the time, I get invited to the Raleigh events. So I was actually giddy with excitement when I found out that I would be headed in the other direction. Mind you, it is the same distance, but the traffic is a major difference.

The BoneFish Grill in Greenville was celebrating its 7th Anniversary with free apps and giveaways from 6-8 pm. We arrived a little after 6 and was greeted by the hostess and Jeff Peck, who is the Managing Partner of Bonefish. We were told that we could sit anywhere we would like and that soon the food would be coming out of the kitchen. We ordered water to start because you know you can never have enough water- and I knew that I was going to order at least one drink, so I didn’t want to get dehydrated.

We were treated to some yummy appetizers. Of course, they had their signature Bang Bang Shrimp, which has been a favorite in my family since we first started going to Bonefish. They also had their Ahi Tuna Sashimi. Y’all let me tell you that I was a little skeptical about trying it because it was sushi. But, man, was it some kind of good.

Rounding out the appetizers were the Thai Coconut Shrimp and the Imperial Dip. And the house-made tortilla chips that they served with the dip were the bomb.

After we had sampled some of the appetizers, we decided to try out some of their signature drinks. And by we, I mean I had my friend Cindi come along for the event. It is always good to catch up with friends during the busy holiday season. Cindi tried the Fresh Margarita, and I had the Espresso Martini. I mean, look at this drink.

It is made with house-infused vanilla bean vodka, Kahlua, Creme de Cacao, and freshly brewed espresso. I am generally not a drinker, but I may or may not have two of those things. They were just so dang yummy.

For dinner, I chose to be safe with their Half-Pound Wagyu Beef Burger and fries. Because I knew after having two drinks, I needed to play safe just in case I wasn’t feeling so good in the morning. ( If you get what I mean!) 😉

I am so looking forward to going back and enjoying Bonefish again. I mean seriously as I am sitting here writing this post, I am thinking I wish I had one of those martinis right. (And once again let me say I am not a big drinker, but I was able to finish 2 of them by myself.)
