Being Mindful with prAna #mindfulprAna
This post was made possible through a partnership with prAna. #mindfulprAna
On any given day, things can get hairy around here. Whether it is a blog post that is needing to written, photos needing to taken and edited, piles of laundry that need to be done, a sink of full of dishes, mom’s taxi service among other things- I have learned that I need to be mindful of how I spend my time and how I spend the resources that are available to me.
I guess that is why I love the prAna brand so much. Not only are they mindful of the way they gather the materials and create the clothes that women all over the world wear not just to work out but in everyday life as well. I also love that they are fair trade certified. Before I met my friend, Molly I would not have known what that meant but now I do.
Not only are these clothes fair trade but they are super comfy as well. Plus I feel confident in my prAna gear. Whether I am out grabbing photos for a future blog post about the graffiti art in our town or sitting at my desk, comfort is key for me. I will admit that when I first tried on the transform pant I wasn’t a big fan. I normally don’t like things that cling to me. But when I realized they made me look slimmer, I became a huge fan. And they are super comfy as well, so much more comfortable than jeans. I can sit at my desk all day completing tasks for the small business I run and literally not move except to go the bathroom or get something to eat. Because when you are behind a computer screen all day, comfort is key but you also don’t want to sacrifice fashion. Plus when I have to take photos from different angles they make it super easy to do that.
I also love that I can pair the Get Up Sweater with a pair of jeans for a night of catching up with friends through blog meet-ups and drinks. Not only is it super comfortable but the sweater is so soft. I love how it is not heavy because even though I love sweaters they can be very hot for this hormonal momma. And the fact that I can wear this even when I drop off my daughter at school makes it a plus as well.
prAna allows me to be able to concentrate on the tasks at hand so that I can work and spend time with my family and get my work done as well as spend time doing my devotional, without feeling like I am shortchanging anybody.
And to me, that is a huge plus. When I put my prAna wear on, I reminded to be mindful of what I spend my time and resources on as well as who I want to spend my time with, it has made me a better person, wife, mom, and friend.
So tell me how you are mindful this year? Do you wear prAna if so tell me what is your favorite piece you own?

I was not aware of the PrAna brand. Thanks for introducing me. I love that everything is fair trade certified. Sounds like a good brand.
I love prAna! I have a few items in my closet by them. I always have to get a bigger size because they run small (unless something has changed since I bought their clothes last).
PrAna seems like a great brand 🙂 I like how it makes you mindful of resources and relationships with others.
nice post
