Weaving into the New Year
A new year brings resolutions. Did you make any? I didn’t because I always end up breaking them and then I get totally disappointed and beat myself up about it. But I did resolve to take each day as a gift especially with the passing of my dad. The best thing about that is that I can change things up daily if I feel like it. That is the fun thing about being a girl. We can change up our looks without batting an eye. We can either go dressy or casual. Whatever we feel like we can do. In that same train of thought we can also switch up our hairstyles whenever we like it. I remember years ago when the country singer, Faith Hill, cut all her beautiful long blonde hair off and trade it in for a short shirred look. She said that the best thing about being a girl (woman) you can switch it up whenever you like and have fun with your look.
Although I am not a country star, I still would like to switch it up every once in a while. Although I can’t afford to go to the hairdresser every day or get my hair done professionally all the time, there are still some affordable ways to change up my look. I can pull it back with a small ponytail, add little braids to my hair, bring my bangs to the front and by getting hair extensions. Extensions are so versatile you can change your look for just a few dollars. Just look at the different styles.
