Stolen Content

Wow, they say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery, but there is a limit to imitation. And that is when that imitation comes in the form of stolen content. Last week I wrote a very raw and emotional post about feeling unworthy. This post was hard for me to write, much less to post it. In this post, I added some personal pictures of me as a child to the post. I waited a few days before I posted, praying over it, and then felt the need to pull the trigger and hit publish. I felt a sense of relief when I hit publish. Letting all those unworthy feelings go and then feeling relief. Until I got a pingback that my very heartfelt post was linked to another blog. I quickly went over to look at the blog post and guess what I found. STOLEN CONTENT!

Y’all, some people have a lot of nerve. Not only was the content stolen ( wording may be a little different, but the post was the same) my pictures which were a lot for me to post, were in the post. Now I know you are probably saying it was just the pictures, but y’all, the person who “supposedly” wrote the post on the site was named STEVEN. Y’all, I can’t even with this.

I immediately commented on the post that it was stolen copyrighted material and asked for them to take it down. I have since gone further and sent this request. That they needed to take down the content, or I will file a DMCA takedown complaint with their web hosting company. I am waiting to hear back from them.

My next order of business if file a complaint with the hosting company as well as Google. I just can’t with this. I spent some time on the said site and realized that they had tons more of my content on it.

I have included a screenshot of this site above and not a link because I don’t want to give them any views. But I also want to see if they post this one about Stolen Content 🙂
