Soccer Scavenger Hunts Are A Ball
I am always looking for fun things to do with my girls. As we are big soccer fans, I decided to make up a scavenger hunt for them to do at a Carolina Railhawks soccer game. I took a picture that I had taken before a Railhawks game of my girls and Lex playing. Using this photo and the help of PicMonkey, I was able to come up with this cute activity.
For the scavenger hunt they had to find several items.
- Yellow cleats (boots)
- A soccer ball
- A man drinking a beer
- A fan wearing the other team’s jersey.
- A midfielder
- A defender
- A goal scored
- A yellow card
- A red card
- Fan in stands wearing player’s jersey
- Picture with your favorite player
- Lastly a player running with the ball.
My girls and Lex had so much fun playing this game. They got half the stuff before the game even started because we like to go early to see the players warmup before the game and in the words of my girls- to see those calf muscles. This was such an easy and creative way for them to have fun and for us to have a great time together as a family. They didn’t get everything on the list, like the red card and the picture with your favorite player but they did get most of it. I am happy to say that Gracie won as she got one more thing than Lex, Maddie, and Mikaela. I took her Starbucks for her prize on Sunday. Even though the girls didn’t get a picture with their favorites (they think they are getting to old for this) you know I got my favorite to sign one of these scavenger hunt sheets.
Scavenger hunts can be a great way to get the whole family involved in an activity and a great way to have fun. Have you ever participated in scavenger hunts before?

This is a really great idea. My kids get a little bored at baseball games or soccer matches, so this would be a great way to keep them entertained at practically any sporting event. Thanks for the idea!
