AFM DIY Ring Holder

I have always had a problem with taking my rings off and forgetting where I took them off. I have spent several wasted minutes looking for them. I have always wanted to make something that would be the keeper of my rings. This little holder was just what the doctor ordered. It took me less than 20 minutes to whip this stylish holder up. Not only is it stylish it was also frugal as well. This cute gift/ craft cost me less than $3.00 to make. Here are the directions so you can make one for yourself or anyone on your Christmas list.

Materials Needed:

  • 4×6 frame ( you can pick these up at $1.00 store)
  • fabric ( I used scrap fabric that I had)
  • Lace or any trim that you would like to go around frame
  • Ornamental details
  • Cotton Interfacing
  • A cup hook
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Hot Glue Sticks

Directions:

First buy a frame. You can purchase one at the dollar store. Next take the frame apart, using the mat that came with the frame, cut your fabric and interfacing to match the mat size. Put the mat, fabric and interfacing back into the frame. Then using hot glue, glue the lace around the edges of the frame, making sure that all the lace is secure. Add the ornamental details to the corner. Take the cup hook and screw it into the middle of the frame. Last hang your rings on them, and now you have a cute ring holder for less than $3.00 and under 20 minutes for someone on your Christmas list.

I don’t know about you, but I love being frugal and stylish at the same time.

  1. This is a great idea. I never know where my rings are gonna end up when I take them off, because I just lay them down on my dresser. This cute ring holder could be hung right next to my dresser or I could keep it in my top drawer. I could even carry one with me in the case I need to take off my rings when I am traveling. This is a craft kids can make with a little help and gift to Moms.

  2. Cute! And I bet this would be a great idea to put it right by the kitchen sink or somewhere you might frequently take off rings for easy access and storage 🙂
