I have been a DIY busy bee lately. I have undertaken so many projects; it has gotten to the point that if I don’t do a project or some kind if craft a day, I feel the stress and worry coming on. So for me, crafts or projects are a great stress reliever. As I said before, I have been cleaning and decluttering – as I am doing this I am coming across items I have forgotten all about. Once I see these items that is when my creative juices kick in., just like this ball I did. If you would like to make one of these balls, this is what you need:

- A styrofoam ball
- Thumbtacks ( a lot of them) you can use one color, but as you can tell by mine, I chose two colors, silver and gold. That is because they were what I found when I was cleaning.
Here is what you need to do. Just push the thumbtacks into the styrofoam ball until the ball is completely covered. This project is very easy to do but a little time consuming, but the outcome is worth it.
I love how mine turned out and can’t wait to make more balls using other items. Having unique items in your homes does not mean spending a lot of money, you just need to let your imagination run wild, and you will be amazed of all the awesome things that you can come up with.

That ball looks great, it would be perfect for christmas. I wonder if you made a cloth ball, it would be perfect for storing the pushpins in a cute way.
You definitely got your creative juices flowing! I need to work on mine as I’m trying to clean out things too and find things I should use. 🙂
