As many you of you know, this past March we gave our middle Mikaela, a quinceanera. This was a huge undertaking on our part and I am just getting around to finally getting my head above water and getting the blog back on track.

For those that are unfamiliar with the tradition of the quinceanera, you can read about it in Making an Entrance. This is almost like a wedding for those who are unfamiliar with this tradition. Just as much hard work goes into as for a wedding. Remember my post Tissue Papers Flowers Make A Quince Anos Stand Out where I told you that I would tell you about the banner midway through the post and said tomorrow. Well, it is a tomorrow but not the tomorrow after the day I posted it. Yep, I am a little backlogged with reviews and with the girls being gone for the next three days and the house is quiet with just Allie, Pandie, and I here, it is perfect to get caught up. So here is my post about the banner.

First and foremost, Nathan at Signazon was awesome. He was very instrumental in creating the roller banner that stood beside Mikaela’s cake. As you know, my friend Cindi photographed Mikaela and this was my favorite picture that she took during the portrait sitting. Then once I got the picture Nathan helped me to design the banner. He had suggested removing the watermark but was equally glad when I told him that I wanted to leave it in because I wanted to help my friend out as well. He told me what files to get to upload the picture for the best quality. I had bought a banner from VistaPrint and it was pixelated. And I was not happy at all.

I was very impressed with the quality of the banner. It was very sturdy and the portrait looked beautiful as a banner. I will have to say that when Gracie decides to have her Quinceanera I will be ordering a banner from there as well. So if you are looking for a banner for your event, please check these guys out. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
