Tissue Papers Flowers Make A Quince Anos Stand Out
The other day I posted how to make an entrance stand out with curtains and tissue paper flowers. You can read about it here. Today, I will show you how to make the tissue paper flowers. Ans how very easy they are to make. Just look at the list of things that you need to make them.
- Tissue Paper
- Pipe Cleaners
- Scissors
Yep folks just these three simple things are needed. But it can make just a dramatic effect. Remember the before and after picture here. (Insert link)The first thing you need to do is take the tissue paper and fold them like a fan. Back and forth like so. The number of sheets of tissue paper depends on how big you want your flower to be. Next after you fold your paper, take a pair of scissors and round out the end edges. Take a pipe cleaner and tie it around the middle of the folded paper. Once you have secured the tissue paper, then start spreading out the paper like so.
Before long you will have a beautiful tissue paper flower to decorate with. We used tons of these for Mikaela’s Quince and it allowed us to save so much money.
Just look at all the ways we used them.
Hanging from the ceiling behind Mikaela’s table for a dramatic effect.
Decorating the stand that her banner hung on. Look for a post on the banner tomorrow
In front of the head table, to give it a garden effect.
At the top and bottom of the lighted columns to add more to the garden effect.
In the entry way
As a way to line the hallway into the ballroom for more of a garden effect. I just tied them on a stick from our yard and leaned them against the wall it made the biggest effect on the hallway.
See the big effect it made into the decor of the party.
So what have you done lately to save money?
