Today we have a guest post. Please welcome Misty to the Adventures of Frugal Mom family as she discusses her journey with Plexus.
Plexus is an all natural health supplement, originally designed to help regulate blood sugar in type II diabetics. Plexus Slim is a little powder packet that you add to your water once daily. It is not a meal replacement. It has been known to help relieve symptoms of many of life’s ailments such as MS, Fibromyalgia, Anxiety, ADHD, and Migraines, the list is endless.
I want to give you a little bit of my back ground and challenge you to follow my journey. I am 37 years old, I have a husband and two kids 9 and 13 (way to soon to be 14). I work full-time traveling the state being a preschool photographer. I began to struggle with my weight after graduating high school. Ten years ago after the birth of my second child I was diagnosed with Fibromyaliga. I suffered daily with physical pain. My heart would break on the days that I hurt to bad to snuggle with my youngest or my hand would not function enough to be able to put my daughter’s hair in a ponytail before school. I tried the prescription medications. The side effects were way worse than dealing with the pain. For many years I have tried and searched for relief with little luck.
I began to follow a friend’s Facebook post about a product she was using called Plexus. She posted about how great she was feeling and how much weight she was losing. I was intrigued. I began to do my research! The more I learned about how the body works and what can be the cause of so many ailments the more Plexus made sense to me. I reached out to my high school friend many times. I talked about it many times with my husband, although he was skeptical he agreed to let me try it.
I jumped in full force. I ordered my products and joined the Plexus team as an ambassador. I researched and read so many testimonials that I knew I wanted to be a big part of this wonderful company. I want to help myself feel better, and hope that along the way I can reach out to someone even if it’s only one and give them the strength to make the change they need to be able to live their life to the fullest.
So I began my journey just about three weeks ago. I feel fantastic. I used to go though a drive thru at least 3 times a day for my sweet tea. I no longer am addicted to the drive thru! I used to rush home to take a nap after work before the kids would get home from school. Not any more I find myself coming home and being productive having dinner ready by the time the family is home from their busy days. I feel fantastic! My pain is minimal. This is so silly but I got so excited the other day because I could walk down the stairs like you should, not one at a time like I was 90. I ultimately did not join for my weight issues I just wanted to feel better. The bonus is I have lost 2lb. and 4in.
I hope that you have found my story inspiring enough to follow my journey and maybe just maybe begin your own. In the coming weeks I plan to tell you more about the products why they work and share my journey as well as those of the many new friends that I am making.
