The Finding Book Review

Recently I was given the opportunity to read a book called “The Finding” by Timothy Cavinder. In this book the main character has to learn to go by his gut instinct rather than trust.

Here is a brief summary of the book.

Have you ever noticed that everything seems to happen for a reason? One Day Horace’s truck won’t start. He gets a ride into town from a friend, this begins a series of events that change his life and that of others. Millicent begins a quest for her long-lost sister, what she ends up finding causes her great sadness and joy at the same time.
I found this book to be very interesting to say the least. It took me a while to get used to how it jumps from one character after another, but once I was able to figure it out I really enjoyed it. It is amazing how one little detail can change the course of your life or your day. Horace learns that he is better to trust friends than his own family and Millicent learns that family does not always mean that you are blood related. The one thing that I got from this book is the idea not to write anybody off because one day they just might turn around and surprise you.  I love when that happens don’t you?

Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book for the sole purpose of this review no other monetary compensation was made. All opinions are 100% mine.
