I love a book that has a little bit of suspense, and science fiction mixed into one awesome read. Stillwell by Michael Phillip Cash fits the bill of suspense and mystery and add in a ghost and you have an amazing summer read.

Just read this and see if it catches your attention.

Paul Russo’s wife just died. While trying to get his family’s life back in order, Paul is being tormented by a demon who is holding his wife’s spirit hostage on the the other side. His fate is intertwined with an old haunted mansion on the north shore of Long Island called Stillwell Manor. Paul must find clues dating back hundreds of years to set his wife’s soul free.

Sounds awesome doesn’t it, well take my word for it folks it is. I loved this book, the character of Paul was so believable even if he does see a ghost, after losing his wife from the dreaded disease cancer. It is amazing how the human mind works. If you are a big fan of paranormal activities that this is the book for you to read this summer. I also loved how a little bit of history was used in this book to describe the history of the haunted mansion Stillwell Manor.

I will have to say that I normally don’t read a lot of books that contain ghost stories because let’s face I am a chicken when it comes to those things. I remember when I was in high school and I saw the original Amityville Horror, I don’t think I slept for a month. To this day I have not been able to watch it again. So for me to recommend this book it has to be good and it was.
