Growing up we did not have a dishwasher, well we did if you count my three sisters and myself, so that is why when we moved into our new home I made sure that a dishwasher was one of the appliances. I hated doing dishes that much. But now it seems that my daughters have inherited that trait from me. They fight over who will load and unload the dishes sometimes leaving piles in the sink.

Having two teenagers and a preteen you can imagine what the dishes look like going into the dishwasher. They do not believe in rinsing or even scraping the plates. I will admit that sometimes I wonder if those dishes will ever get clean but they do. Why because we use Cascade Platinum dishwashing detergent. Did you know that has the grease fighting power of Dawn dishwashing detergent? I have always been a big fan of Dawn, but I am an even bigger fan now. It also eliminates the need for prewashing the dishes and with a house of teenagers that is a big plus. Here is another great thing about Cascade Platinum it is that scrubs away food that has been left on the plate for 24 hours. ( Sshh!! Let this be our little secret – My girls do not need to know!)

I will have to say that I was using another brand before I got the chance to try out Cascade Platinum and I have decided that this is the brand for my family.

• I have also noticed that inside of the dishwasher is a lot cleaner. Now if only they make a product that would instantly clean the outside as well.
• No more washing and rewashing of dishes because they did not come clean. Remember teenagers who just want to get the job done so they can get on their electronics.
