Anyone that has a high school student knows that there is one question that seems to be always hanging in the air? And that question is what do you want to do when you get out of high school? For some, the answer may be to go into the workforce, but for a majority of high school kids, it is to go to college. But if they are anything like my youngest daughter they don’t know what they want to do when they get into college. Gracie is torn between wanting to be a criminal psychologist a profiler like the ones on Criminal Minds or a cosmologist. This changed from a year ago when she wanted to work on a movie set. That is a vast difference between her career fields; she has always had a hard time making up her mind.,

But luckily, Seventeen has come out with a book that will help make her journey to college easier. When I showed the book Seventeen: College Goals she immediately asked if she could have the book. She said I need this so much. Like I said she knows what she likes but is not sure of which field to go into.

Here is a little bit about the book

The only thing standing between your child and college is figuring out where you want to go, what you want to do. The stress of writing college essays, filling out applications, getting a high score on standardized tests ( like the SAT , which might I add I am not a big fan of because each kid learns differently), making sure you have extracurricular activities, earning favor for with your teachers, so they will write glowing recommendations- are you stressed out? Yep, I am stressed just thinking about but can you imagine how the kids feel. It is quite a bit overwhelming.

With Seventeen: College Goals- Kids can put their thoughts down on paper, this guide is the part planner and part journal. It will help with the process of applying to college with step by step instructions. And well as some handy life hacks. Tips and fun quizzes help to lessen the stress about what they want to do with the rest of their life.

With Gracie, I can see this helping her out a lot. She gets very anxious when it comes to making choices and new situations. If you have a child like that, make sure you enter the giveaway using the rafflecopter form below.  Here is a little bit about the giveaway.
