Step Into March Madness Basketball Cookies

When I was growing up, it was this time of year that I absolutely adore. Not only because it is Spring is in the year but because of this phenomenon of March Madness. Not sure what that is, it is the time of year that basketball fans huddle around a television rooting for their favorite basketball team. When I was in my teens, I was a huge Duke Fan. In fact, I had the biggest crush on Danny Ferry of Duke.  { Here is a little confession – when I was in high school I even sent him a letter asking him to go to prom with me. LOL Girls with crushes right? }

That was then, and this is now. I am longer a huge basketball fan as  I have moved onto soccer. But I  still recall fondly the times spent watching my beloved Blue Devils play. So on that thought, I decided to come up with something that any basketball fans would love as a treat or to serve at any basketball watching party.

These are so easy to make that you can even get the kids involved in on the fun.

Here is what you need to make these March Madness Basketball Cookies.

Ingredients

[li]Vanilla Wafers any brand will do [/li]
[li]2 vanilla pudding cups[/li]
[li]Gourmet Writer Food Decorator Pens [/li]
[/list]

Directions

[list style=”style6″]
[li]Take one vanilla wafers and with a small spatula spread some vanilla pudding on the flat side of wafers. [/li]
[li]Then top it off with another wafer. [/li]
[li]With the food decorator pens draw what looks like a basketball on the top cookie[/li][list style=”style6″]
[li] Continue until you make enough to share[/li]
[li] Enjoy[/li]
[/list]
