Santa’s Workshop was a Blast!!!
Oh to see Christmas through the eyes of a child! The other day I attended an Santa Workshop event held at Coco’s Darlings. Remember I spotlighted the owner in Isn’t She Just Darling? This event was so awesome.
Courtney had about 30 children to register and attend this event. When they first came in they received their nametags and were shown into the “movie” room- where classic Christmas movies were being shown. After everyone arrived the children were split into 4 groups. Some stayed in the movie room, some went to decorate cookies, some went to write letters to Santa while others went to make teddy bears. The ones who stayed in the movie room were treated to popcorn and water. After about 20 minutes the groups rotated until they all had done all of the stations. Then it was time for them to sit down and listen to “Twas the Night Before Christmas”.
I will have to say that I was impressed with how well things were run and the staff at Coco’s are just fabulous. (Of course I may be a little bias since Courtney is one of my best friends and my two older girls worked the event.) But don’t take my word for it. Give Coco’s a try especially if you live in Goldsboro or surrounding areas. Matter of fact Coco’s is having a holiday open house this Thursday December 12 from 6-8 pm. So come check it out. It is also the grand opening of Coco’s New Boutique and The Nail Studio will be offering hand treatments as well. So if you are in the area come check them out.
