Relaxing at The Beach
Today’s vacation stop is one of the places I love the most. THE BEACH. We just recently visited the beach last week and I loved it. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting on the beach listening to the tides going in and out. I love to take whatever book I am reading with me alongside any supplies in an easy to use beach wagon cart. While my family is frolicking in the water, I sit on the beach and read. Normally we take a picnic lunch but this time we decided to splurge on Dinner at a Seafood restaurant. I have been wanting some fried clams for a while.
Imagine if you will eating dinner while looking out on the water as the boats go sailing by. It was peaceful.
Well we were at the beach. My family and I just spent the day relaxing at the beach with one extra in tow. Gracie got to invite a friend to come with us. So of course she went to her go to buddy, one that she has known since she was a baby. Makenzie is always such a great joy to be around. She always makes us laugh.
So here are some pictures I snapped at the beach. I have a tip for you about taking pictures at the beach. I have a hard time viewing the pictures I take on my digital camera making sure that I got the right people in the shot LOL. I was given a big floppy hat for my birthday so I put that hat on the camera and I can see the pictures perfectly.
Playing the waves. Don’t worry they all put sunscreen on before they got in. Even made sure to put some on hubby’s bald spot. LOL
Watching Maddie made me laugh. She would turn sideways whenever a wave would come crashing in. Never knew she was on her high school swim team.
Gracie and Makenzie sitting in the surf. At one point a heavy wave came crashing in the girls were moved sideways by the motion of the waves. They were caught so off guard by this because they were caught up in their conversation. They just started laughing.
The girls playing in the waves. At this point Mikaela had decided as she says it “To Get Her Tan On!” LOL
At one point Gracie was knocked down by the waves. Maddie was being such a great big sister helping her up. And the last picture I want to leave you with it this one.
My husband, Raul, I think was the biggest kid on the beach that day. I had to keep telling him not to go out to far. LOL So I hope you enjoyed our beach adventure tune in tomorrow where we will be touring an historic ceremony.
