Frozen Hot Chocolate and A Giveaway

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire Jack Frost nipping at your nose and in your hand is a cup of hot chocolate. I love the winter because it is a time for snuggling with loved ones, whether it be watching movies or reading a book there is sure to be a cup of hot chocolate close at hand. Hot chocolate is the one staple that we have in our house during the winter months. Heaven forbid we run out, it is an emergency trip to the store for more. Did you know that Hot Chocolate comes in a variety of flavors? Have you heard of chocolate marshmallow, chocolate cinnamon, pumpkin spice, chocolate peppermint, and chocolate raspberry? Well if you haven’t then you need to check out Southwest Beverages line of hot chocolates under the Sippity brand. These are great to get you jump started in the morning and warmed up at the end of a long cold day.
One day I decided that I wanted to make something different with this instant hot chocolate packets. So I set out to make a recipe that is worthy of Frosty himself. Have you ever heard of Frozen Hot Chocolate? Well if you haven’t you are in for a treat.
Frozen Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 1 cup ice
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 packet Sippity Hot Chocolate
- 1 tbsp cool whip
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a blender
- Blend in blender until ice cubes aren't present and has a smooth consistency.
- Top with whipped cream or cool whip

We always keep hot chocolate in our house as well. It not only taste great and keeps you warm. It also brings back special memories of times gone by.

I mainly drink tea but I have to admit I do love a good hot chocolate from time to time, there is something relaxing about a nice steaming mug. x

I have a frozen hot chocolate mix from the restaurant in NYC made famous by Serendipity. The idea of frozen hot chocolate sounds odd but I hear it’s great.

I absolutely love wintertime for peppermint hot chocolates. They are so good and an excellent sign that winter is here (minus the snow of course).
