#KleenexCares What You Are Thankful For?

This time of year brings the yuckys. You know what I mean congestion, running noses, sniffles, coughs and sore throats. In fact right now as I am writing this blog post I am suffering from the yuckys. Do you know what that means – Winter is just around the corner. But just because I have the yuckys right now does not meant that I am wallowing in self-pity. Nope not me, I am thankful that I am just suffering from a mild inconvenience because there are some that suffer from things that are more serious. So during this time of colds and flu be sure to share a kleenex tissue. This is a simple gesture that will give a little big of comfort to the sufferer and can make a big difference on your health.

If you are on Facebook you see a ton of posts that about how people are thankful for what they are given. But really do we really need to post all over the place how thankful we are. In my day job, I recently did a project with all the children that I teach. I asked them to write one thing that they were thankful for  on a leaf. That was just one simple thing but it became a grand gesture when they were all added together. So you see little gestures turn into something bigger than life itself. It is like a pay it forward scheme. If you do one nice thing for someone, they will in turn remember and do something nice for someone else. That is why it is important to teach our children that caring and thinking of others will only help make the world a better place.

With that thought in mind, Kleenex is giving you the consumer the opportunity to give back. All you need to do is go to your local store and purchase a Kleenex bundle pack and redeem the code on the box. Visit Kleenex and follow the directions to send a Care Pack to who someone who needs a little care. Also make sure to check out their Facebook page.

What are you thankful for this year?? What act of kindness have you done?

“I wrote this review while participating in an ambassador program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of the Kleenex brand and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.”

  1. I am so thankful for family and friends as well as our health. Those short term ‘bugs’ are a pain, but far better than other long term, serious illnesses.
