Invitations Set The Tone for Celebrating Major Milestones

Invitations Set The Tone for Celebrating Major Milestones from North Carolina Lifestyle Blogger Adventures of Frugal Mom

This is a sponsored post. A lot of milestones have been happening around the blog cabin parts in the past few years. We have had a wedding, a high school graduation, a one year anniversary of “Chats from the Blog Cabin”, paying off the Blog Cabin (yep it is officially all mine) and next month we have a college graduation. Our middle daughter, who coincidentally will be closing on her first house soon is graduating with her degree in interior architecture. With all these milestones you can imagine we have quite a lot to celebrate and with celebrations of course you need invitations.

I was on the search for invites like the ones we used for our oldest daughter’s rehearsal dinner – they were so unique. The proper invitation can set the tone of the event. You know I am a do-it-yourself kind of gal. But I wanted the invites to be not only elegant but also have my own personal spin. So I went searching on the web for some unique and cheap graduation invitations that I could not only add my unique spin on them but also would still look fabulous.

And that is when I found Basic Invite. I totally went down the rabbit hole on this site. I found myself looking at all the invites. Heck,  I looked at a nurse graduation announcement and nobody in my family has any desire to go into the medical field. But I couldn’t stop myself- you know that feeling you get when you eat a potato chip you know you can’t stop at just one. Well, that was me. I kept finding interesting invites for events that weren’t even happening in my life.

I will confess that I lost a few hours on this site. But honestly, I am sad about it. I mean what invitation site do you know that will allow you to customize the color you want and will even print out a sample invitation for you. I was so impressed by that option because most companies that sell invitations will send out samples but that won’t be personalized to your event. It felt so posh like I was on an episode of one of the Real Housewives shows that I love.

I also love that even though they are elegant looking and people will think you spent a fortune on them – but in reality you just made cheap (AKA frugal) look good. I mean I am known as the frugal mom in most circles. But honestly folks I have always looked for ways to save and I have found that most of the time saving doesn’t mean that you have to give up on quality. It just means that you get to be selective over which products you choose for your family. And in this case, when it came to a graduation invite I am so glad I had a site like this to help me not only decide what invitation we wanted but also one that showed us that just because you can’t afford the expensive things in life you can still have some elegant things. And I also love that you get a chance to find out for yourself, they are currently offering 15% off with this coupon code: 15FF51.

As you can see we will be having a lot of things to celebrate this year but enough about me. I want to know if you have any major milestones or events that you will be celebrating in the next year or two. Please share because I think we all need to hear good news every now and then.
