Inspire Goodness with Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen #InspireGoodness

Disclosure: I received a gift card in exchange for this post.

One thing that doesn’t often happen in my family is going out to eat. With all of our busy schedules, we just can’t seem to find the time or make the time to go. But on one Wednesday night, ( a weeknight, I know what a shock) we traveled to Greenville, a town about 45 minutes away) to once again eat at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen.

It is one of the few places that we all agree on. The food is fantastic and the waitstaff is out of this world.

When we arrived, we were quickly seated, and our server Swan came by to greet us. I know what a unique name right? That should have been a clue to how fantastic that night would be. She was not only attentive to us but also to her other tables. In fact, we watched as one of the tables must have left a big tip because it brought Swan to tears.

I love it when people perform their jobs in an explementary manner. And Swan was such a person. I knew that I would find the time to sit down and write this story about Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen #InspireGoodness Campaign that I would include Swan in the story. I am just sad that I never got a picture of her.

You see it doesn’t take big things to #inspiregoodness even little things can do that. Something as small as a smiling at a stranger or letting a car go in front of you, or even letting someone in front of you in line, can make someone’s day. And today I am inspiring goodness, by wearing purple for #epilepsyawareness, as my youngest who is my hero has had to deal with this condition for several years.

That is the reason why I was so excited when Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen asked me to join this campaign. It is something close to my heart, and that is continuing the legacy that my dad left by giving back.
