Imitation highest form of flattery

My daughter loves Kristen Bell. If she is in a movie or television show, she has to see it. She likes Kristen’s acting but even more than that she likes how she make even the most casual outfit worthy of a red carpet event. One of her favorite outfits that she wears to school is one that imitation of an outfit that she saw Kristen wear. It is a long tunic style light blue shirt with a pair of denim leggings. She adds to this a pair of dangly earrings and a pair of ballet flats and she is ready to go to school or out on a date. This outfit is casual enough for everyday activities. But just changing the way she wears her hair (up in a ponytail or in a bun or hanging down) changes the whole mood of the outfit making it go from casual to dressy. Also adding a little more makeup allows for a more dramatic look. You do not have to spend a lot of money to look like a celebrity just find a few outfits that you like and try to imitate them by shopping at yard sales, clearance racks and secondhand stores for that celebrity look. That is what my daughter did and she looks like a million bucks.
