Deadlines, blank screens, writer’s block- all of these things can contribute to a blogger being stressed out. Add to that an already long list of everyday obligations and the holidays. You have a recipe for disaster.

That is if you don’t have the tools necessary to handle all of these things. Stress tips were the main theme of the recent Carolina Blogging meet up in Greenville hosted by Tammy from Women Managing Stress .

I met Tammy several months ago at the Blogging with a Princess event. She is such a sweetheart. She did an amazing job hosting the #gratefulforblogs meetup.

The food and the company were amazing. I was able to network with several new bloggers. As well of some of my old blogger friends like Hannah, Laura, and of course my blogging BFF Sarah.

Tammy shared with us her amazing planner that she created herself. And I will tell you I secretly lusted after it. It was totally awesome and so organized.  I will have to admit that being organized is one thing that I am not. I so need to work on that.

Laura, from 27 Words and my blog conference buddy  shared how Young Living Essential Oils can help to reduce our stress levels. She gave us all a sample of my favorite oil, Peace and Calming.

We also took the time during the event to write out a Christmas Card or two for our soldiers who are currently deployed and who will be away from their families for the holidays. This was something I started last year to honor the memory of my dad, who was a retired Master Sergeant in the Marine Corps.

We had an amazing time at this event and we all walked away winners.  I am so grateful that Tammy hosted us and that everyone had an amazing time.  I am looking forward to the next meetup we have planned for February at the Grapefull Sisters Winery in Tabor City.
