Do You Have a Blogging Best Friend?

There is something to be said about having a blogging best friend. There are a few bloggers that I have met that could fit the bill. But the person that is always on the top of my list is Sarah from The Hot Mess Kitchen and Carolina Blogging.

I met Sarah at a Carolina blogging meetup about two years. We instantly clicked. She is the one I go to with any blogging problems. And if you have been blogging for a while, you know blogging isn’t as easy as everyone thinks it is. She is always giving me some awesome advice about how to handle situations, and she is my go-to when I need a graphic.

Oh did I mention she is also an amazing designer? She is the one responsible for the super soccer mom you see above. We worked alongside each other. Never once did she get frustrated when it came to me changing my mind. (Which I did like a million times 😉 . It was like she knew exactly what I wanted and put the images in my head on paper.

I love that we can work alongside each other on the fantastic projects for Carolina Blogging. In just the short year since she taken it over it has come a long way. We have had two extremely successful meetups and are planning more in the new year.

I love that she is always open to ideas and that she is willing to not only listen but to encourage as well. And it is never a no with her; it is more like a maybe. And then the brainstorming begins. And an amazing idea comes out of being able to share our thoughts openly.

I feel like, I would totally be lost without her friendship and her advice. I know there isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t chat on Facebook, by text or phone about something.

She is one of those true blue bloggers that want others to grow and encourages them to share. There are so many bloggers out there that it has to be their way or no way at all. ( And believe me I have run into a lot of them lately.)

I just feel so blessed to have met Sarah. I am also fortunate that we can work together on a project and laugh at each other’s faults. And boy, do we have a lot of laughs.

So see having a blogging best friend is important because sometimes blogging can be a solitary life. Having someone who knows not only about blogging but who can also have a laugh with, is important to our mental health?

So tell me do you have a blogging best friend? If so give them a SHOUT OUT in the comments.

Oh! And by the way, if you missed the post I did about Sarah’s mom you can read it here.
