Essential Shopping Advice
Shopping for essentials can be very time consuming. First you need to decide what the essentials for your family are. For my family, the obvious first one would be toilet paper, followed by toothpaste, razors, sanitary napkins, tampons and the all-important ibuprofen. Then after you make your list look at the sales papers to see which store is offering the best deals for your essentials. And while you are checking the sales papers make sure that you check to see if there are any coupons available to help offset the cost of these essentials. I have found that when a store offers a buy one get one free deal, that I can use manufacturer coupons for both items and save. Why do you ask is that possible? Because most of the time stores cash register take off half the price of each item when ringing them up instead of deducting the full price. That will save you some money this way. Also buy the store brands, they are exactly the same as the name brand but will save you some money in the long run. Check out the dollar stores as well, they are now taking manufacturer coupons so you can get these items for next to nothing from there. There are many ways to use when you shop for essentials, you just have be smart and do your research to find which ways work best for you. Share with your friends how you shop and ask them how they shop. There are many different strategies out there and by sharing who knows you might find another way that helps you to save more money when shopping for those essentials.
