Creative Ways To Spread Holiday Cheer This Year

Creative Ways To Spread Holiday Cheer This Year from North Carolina Lifestyle Blogger Adventures of Frugal Mom

I can’t tell y’all how excited I am that the holidays are here. We all need more joy this year. But I don’t think that many folks are as pumped as I am. I can’t blame them, really. This year has been exhausting, so I’m trying extra hard to be as jolly as possible. Here are some creative ways to spread holiday cheer this year if y’all are struggling to be happy.

Decorating

The holidays wouldn’t be the same without decorations. We need to do more decorating this year since everyone’s a little bit down. Here are some unique things y’all can do to make your home feel like a winter wonderland:

  • You don’t have to stop at the mantle; you should decorate every room of your house so that it looks fabulous.
  • Use specific decorating tools like tinsel and Christmas lights to spread some holiday cheer.
  • Don’t neglect the outside of your home, y’all. I always want my house to be the one that people stare at when they’re driving by.

Caroling

Caroling is an old-time holiday tradition. However, you can make it unique this year by singing in front of hospitals or nursing homes. Seniors and people on the front lines need more cheer than ever this year, and caroling will definitely put a smile on their faces. We need to keep the most vulnerable in mind this holiday season.

Baking

Another creative way to spread holiday cheer this year is baking sweet treats. Sadly, not many of us have been able to see our neighbors as much as we’d like to in 2020. Dropping off baked goods is one way of letting them know you’re thinking about them. Also, getting in the kitchen is a great way to pass the time during this crazy winter.

This holiday season will undoubtedly look different from others in the past. That’s why I’m committed to being as cheerful as possible, y’all. I want to put a smile on everyone’s faces during the challenging year that is 2020.
