Changes They Are A Coming

With the new year and the new me attitudes things are changing here at Adventures of Frugal Mom. As you can tell by my earlier post I am a self hosted blog now Yea!!!! I am so excited but with the move comes the learning curve. I am just now trying to figure out all the ends at outs of  WordPress. What came as a second nature to me on blogger is now not so much anymore. So with that said please bear with me as I am learning the ins and outs of word press. Also with the new move will be coming a new design and I am super stoked about it. Not sure what it is going to be like yet but I have picked the scrapkit and the designer that is making it is awesome and has been super patient with me all through out. I want to thank Kelly at Twenty70 Hosting who not only moved me over and was patient with me when I was freaking out yesterday when my site was down. This is also where my host server is located. I love the fact that she is so easy to work with and the price is amazing. They have an i.am.blogger hosting plan for $5 a month and I love that. With one $10 payout from Superpoints I can pay for a whole month I love that. You are a blogger blog and are interested in moving to your own domain and want to switch to Word Press this is definetly the way to go. With that said please bear with me as it will take me a while to get used to these changes and find my way around.
Now here is the important answer to the question why change from Blogger? It scared me when Blogger started closing down blogs because they were considered spam. Not knowing if and when this would ever happen to me I decided to make the switch sooner rather than later and with great advice from my Blogstars friends who answered my questions along the way and made this switch easier for me. To have such supportive friends make this move easier for me knowing that if I had any questions that will do everything they can to answer the questions.
