Giving Back Series from North Carolina Lifestyle Blogger Adventures of Frugal Mom

It is officially December. And you know what that means? It is the start of my giving back series. Each day this month I will post either a way you can give back or profile organizations that give back. So check back every day to check out ways you can give back.  Today I have a post that is about a company that gives back and keeps the feet warm of those less fortunate.

In the classic Christmas poem, a visit from St. Nicholas, written by Clement Clark Moore, there is a line about stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. Well one Raleigh, North Carolina based company has turned a stocking business or rather a sock business into a way to give back to the community.

Exec Socks is a Raleigh based subscription sock service that not only helps keep your feet in the latest in sock fashion but also helps those less fortunate. For each subscription box purchased, Exec Socks donates a pair a pair of socks to Oak City Outreach Center, a downtown Raleigh center aiming to end hunger and homelessness in the Triangle. Don’t you just love it when companies give back to the community, I know I do.

Well, guess what, now they are passing along an exclusive deal for my readers as well. From now until Christmas Day you can receive 25% off all subscriptions orders placed online using the code JINGLESOCKS. Monthly subscriptions start at $10, so it’s an affordable way for a holiday gift to keep giving throughout the year for men and women alike. And I love that not only you can give a gift for that hard to buy for person on your list ( aka my Husband and future son-in-law) but also that you will be helping out someone in need, by making sure that they have warm feet this holiday season.

I was sent two pairs of their socks I can honestly say that I would wear these but I am choosing to continue the tradition of giving back and I will be adding them to the blessing bag that we will make at the beginning of January. Because yes it is nice to be charitable during the holidays but people still need help all through the year. So I challenge you to make a difference and give back any way you can throughout the year just like companies like Exec Sock.
