Sometimes it’s a good idea to involve some sports activity that gets kids running around burning off the sugar, before sending them back to their parents!

Game ideas for Older Children aged 10 to 12 years old

Spin the bottle is a fun game to play and whoever the bottles lands on there is a yucky food to taste, which always gets loads of laughs and children love this game! You can pick some presents to give away if the bottle spins and lands on a person three times in a row, which adds to the excitement. Here are some birthday party gifts ideas that I used for my boys birthday party

6 to 10-year-olds   

The chocolate game is a fun one and can always get children involved if some are shy. This activity needs a knife and fork for using to try and cut the bar of chocolate while wearing a dress of some sort. Sometimes the chocolate can get soft very quickly in warmer climates, so make sure to put it into the freezer to make the chocolate last longer.   

 4 to 6-year-olds 

Pass the parcel or musical statues is a classic game and one that never gets old with the kids. Pick some great music, loads of chairs to use and let the games begin.
2 to 4 years old

Kids at this age love a treasure hunt and if supervised this is a great outdoor game to play at the party. Merely hide some sweets and candy then send them off to hunt the treasure down.
