Women Who Are Fighting Against the Negative

This month is Women’s History Month so each day I will be sharing either about an event that women are holding, a woman-owned business, reintroducing you to my girls ( they each get a separate post) and also giving you a brief glimpse of the women I admire. Yesterday I shared with you a heartwarming post from one such woman. And today I am sharing 4 more bloggers who have an incredible sense of self as well as such amazing hearts. I met Tracy through Trifabb, she is amazing and her photos are the bomb. I have just recently met Lucy in person and she is as sweet as she is online. Tiffany I knew before she made it big. And Kate is one of my new friends who I met on the wine tour she put together.

I love this photo of myself because I can see my confidence. This isn’t fake, superficial confidence, it’s one I’ve fought hard for. I’ve worked to heal a negative body image, recover from disordered eating and found peace with my body. When I look at this photo I don’t see the expectations of the world’s beauty standards, I see a woman who is shining from the inside out. – Tracy from The Tracy Vazquez

So, this is my most recent favorite pictures of myself. I love it because it shows me you can see the happiness on my face I’m showing love and support for my city which is my passion and I’m having fun. This is my favorite photo because it reminds of what I looked like in my 20s, even though I only took the photo a couple of weeks ago. It’s one of the few good photos of me—I’m famous for taking horrible photos, I’m just awkward in front of a camera. I was really happy in this photo and I think that shows through. – Kate from Life of A Ginger
