Whoop it up with this Jalapeño Cantaloupe Margarita

Y’all, I am a huge Housewives fan. I have interviewed 2 for the podcast and one here on the blog. They were Kary Brittingham and D’andra Simmons from The Real Housewives of Dallas and the OG of the Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki Gunvalson. This margarita recipe is to pay homage to Vicki, who loves to Whoop it Up. This Jalapeño Cantaloupe Margarita is the perfect beverage to either whoop it up or relax with.
Jalapeño Cantaloupe Margarita

Yield: 1 serving
Prep Time: 5 min
Total Time: 5 min
Ingredients:
1 oz Tequila
1 oz Jalapeño Tequila
½ oz Grand Marnier
2 oz Cantaloupe Agua Fresca mix, made as directed
2 oz Jalapeño Margarita Mix
Ice
Sugar, glass garnish
Margarita Salt, glass garnish
Simple syrup, glass garnish
Lime wheel or wedge, garnish
Cantaloupe wedge, garnish
Instructions:
Rim the edge of your glasses with a salt rim or sugar rim.
Dip your glass in simple syrup and then into either the sugar or salt. Set to the side.
Fill your glasses ¾ of the way full with ice.
In a cocktail shaker, add all of the ingredients and shake vigorously to combine. Pour the cocktail mixture into the ice-filled glass.
