What I Learned at Happy Camp with Katie Wee at Enchantment Resort in Sedona

If you’d told me a year ago that I’d find a piece of myself again in the red rocks of Sedona, I would’ve laughed and poured another cup of sweet tea. But y’all, that’s exactly what happened at Happy Camp, the soulful retreat led by the amazing Katie Wee at the dreamy Enchantment Resort.
Let me take you back…
A Retreat That Feels Like a Hug for Your Soul
From the moment I arrived, nestled between towering red rocks and whispering canyon breezes, I could feel something shift. This wasn’t just another getaway — it was a full-on permission slip to slow down, breathe deep, and come home to myself.
Katie, with her glowing energy and down-to-earth heart, created a space where vulnerability wasn’t scary — it was celebrated. Each morning started with grounding movement, and every evening wrapped in meaningful conversation, laughter, and sometimes a few (happy) tears.
It wasn’t about being perfect. It was about being present.

Lessons in Letting Go (and Letting Light In)
One of the biggest takeaways for me? You don’t have to carry everything alone.
Through Katie’s mindset workshops and quiet reflection in the canyons, I realized how tightly I’ve been holding onto fears and old stories that no longer serve me. At Happy Camp, I learned to set them down. Not toss them — but place them gently aside with love.
I was reminded that abundance isn’t something “out there” — it’s already within us, just waiting to be seen, heard, and nurtured.

The Power of Place
Let’s talk about Enchantment Resort for a minute. Y’all — it’s not just a resort. It’s a whole vibe. The air feels different there, almost like it’s infused with magic and possibility. Boynton Canyon became my sanctuary — whether I was journaling under a cottonwood tree or sipping tea while watching the sky change colors.
There’s something deeply spiritual about Sedona. It’s the kind of place that whispers truths to you when you least expect it — like during a sunset hike or while soaking in a warm tub under the stars.

Kindred Spirits & Campfire-Style Connections
I didn’t just grow — I connected. The women at Happy Camp? Instant soul sisters. We cried, laughed, danced barefoot, swapped stories, and held space for each other in the most beautiful, authentic ways.
No pretense. No pressure. Just people showing up as they are — and being fully seen.
And let me just say — there’s something healing about having someone nod and say, “Me too.”
Carrying Happy Camp Home
Even though Happy Camp had to end (sad face), what I took home with me is still unfolding. I’ve created morning rituals that feel like sacred little moments. I’m journaling more, stressing less, and saying “yes” to things that light me up.
And when life gets noisy (as it tends to do), I close my eyes and picture those Sedona rocks… and Katie’s voice reminding me that joy is always available, if we’re brave enough to claim it.
So if you’ve ever felt like you needed a reset, or like your sparkle’s gone a little dim — let me tell you: Happy Camp will reignite your flame. It did for me.
And I’ll be forever grateful for the girl who returned from Sedona softer, stronger, and more herself than ever before.
