Picking out new glasses causes tons of anxiety for me. I could spend hours picking out just the right pair only to get them home and totally second guess my choice. Has this ever happened to you? I lost count how many times this has happened to me. But finally, a company has come out with this impressive concept- trying out your frames in the comfort of your home.
Just imagine sitting on your couch in your comfortable pajamas or sweats and picking out your next fashionable pair of eyeglasses. Warby Parker has come out this excellent new program where you can go online and pick out five pairs of frames to try on at home. There is no pressure from salespeople, and you have up to a week to decide which pair will be your next pair. After the week is up, you just return them with the prepaid UPS label that is packed in with your frames.
No fuss, no muss, no pressure to decide on the spot which pair is the right one. After the Thanksgiving holiday, my oldest and my youngest along with my oldest’s boyfriend had a fun time modeling the frames. Notice how each frame-shaped their faces differently in the above collage.

I was most impressed with the clear frames and how they changed the way my oldest looked.
So if you are looking for new glasses that are not only fashionable but affordable and you shop for in the comfort of your homes, then take a moment to check out the collection here. I promise you won’t be disappointed. And don’t forget for every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need, so start picking out your favorite frames now!

  1. I did this home try-on as well! But somehow I missed that for every pair sold a pair is distributed to someone in need! That’s great to know! 🙂 I love the clear frames as well! Wish I’d have gotten those to try on!

  2. Those are really nice glasses. I like the idea of being able to try glasses on at home and test them out. In the past I have taken my time to get glasses, but get them home and after wearing them for a while they start to hurt. Being able to keep glasses for a bit to try them would help with that.

  3. This really is a great idea! I’ll have to tell my hubby – he’s the glasses-wearer at our house!

  4. I love this concept. I hate trying on glasses at the store. The salesclerks are always so pushy and hovering, I feel nervous when they scrutinize me in every pair. I would love to shop for them from home!

  5. That is pretty neat. I wonder how this would work for me since I usually wear children’s glasses.
