Tips for Handling the End of the School Year Stress
It is that time of year again, the end of the school year. This time of year is always crazy with sports banquets, award ceremonies, end of soccer season and the end of learning for the school year. Speaking of the end of school year, you can’t forget the EOCs (End of Course) test and EOG’s ( End of Grade) tests. These tests can be very stressful for students and parents alike. Here are some surefire tips to help combat the end of the school year stress.
- Make sure you get enough sleep at night. Try to do something relaxing before you and your child turn in for the night. Sometimes a warm bath is just what the doctor ordered.
- Exercise- I have noticed that on the days I feel the most stressed out if I carve out just a few minutes to exercise, I feel so much better.
- Breakfast the Most Important Meal of the Day. Since most tests are administered in the morning, i make sure that my girls have something in their stomachs. They are not big breakfast eaters, but I have found out that if I lay our a variety of nutritious items to choose from, they will eat a little something.
Gracie had her first EOC last Friday. And I made her a little breakfast buffet of homemade blueberry muffins, homemade cheese biscuits, yogurt, and granola. And of course when it comes to yogurt I choose only the best, and that is Annie’s Organic Yogurt.

Because let’s face it sometimes finding a yogurt that is organic and taste delicious can sometimes be a challenge for parents. I mean Gracie won’t eat healthy peanut butter, but this yogurt she will it.
Annie’s Organic Whole Milk Yogurt is available at Publix in two flavors, Summer Strawberry, and Berry Patch, making it the perfect breakfast to get your kids ready for the end of school year. And from 5/7 – 5/27 Annie’s Organic Whole Milk Yogurt is on sale at Publix 2 for $5. How cool is that?
