The Perfect Mother’s Day
This post was sponsored by Movies Anywhere. #MoviesAnywhereMom
Mother’s Day or in my house it is known as Mom’s Day ( I hate dislike the word Mother- when I hear that word I think of someone who is very formal and strict and primarily an old for lack of a better word- hag. So let me start again the perfect mom’s day in my house would be a day where nothing needs to be done, and we aren’t going anywhere.
It is not for me about the gifts it is about time spent with each other. With one, Maddie, moving across the country to California, One who comes home from college to say hi and then off with her friends, aka my middle daughter Mikaela, and one who stays in her room a majority of the time – Gracie. I want a day where I am with my girls watching some of our favorite chick flicks and just chatting and having fun in the moment.
Watching movies is big in our family. I think it was because when the girls were growing up, and they were in elementary school we always had a movie night with craft (yep the teacher in me coming out again) every Thursday night because their dad worked every Thursday. This was my special time with the girls. I would spend hours deciding what movies to watch and then deciding what craft to do in and the menu as well.
So in that spirit, I want to tell you about Movies Anywhere. It has thousands of titles just for me. And the movies are available anytime and anywhere that is so important to me as I am always on the go. And I love the selection of titles. This Mom’s Day I am going to grab a chick flicks and veg out in front of the television. But before do, I let me show you another one of my Mother’s Day Presents.
Meet Koda- she is a puppy from the farm. She joined our family at 9 weeks old right before Mother’s Day.
