Enjoying Mail with a Conscious

Do you have a child going away to college or perhaps a friend or loved one in the military and you want to send a care package to them but feel guilty about what you send because the effect it will have on the environment?? Some people do not give a second though about all the waste and chemicals that are put into our environment. I was introduced to an amazing little company called Conscious Box just recently and I am so happy about that.

If you are not familiar with Conscious Box here is a little background information.
Conscious Box is a monthly delivery of pure and sustainable products that are handpicked from businesses that care for the planet—just like you. Pure and sustainable means that it can be recycled and that items are free of chemicals. The boxes $12 a month plus $7.95 in shipping and I know what you thinking that is a lot but look at what I received in my box.

 

I had a hard time getting all of this in one picture. Each month your box will contain anything from drink mixes, to energy bars,  coupons and more. So this would be a great little care package to send anyone away from home. The box it comes in is recyclable as well.

I was impressed with how much was jammed inside this little box.  I confess that when I signed up to review I wasn’t exactly sure what all came in the box but now I am glad I did. I even made a cute item from the mint tin.

Recycled Business Card Holder

Items needed:

Business Cards

Paintbrush

Mod Podge Glue

Mint tin

Here is what you need to do

Apply the Mod Podge glue to the back of a business card.

Apply it to the mint tin.

Then take and use apply the Mod Podge glue over the front of the tin and on top of the business card.

As I am doing in the picture below.

Let Dry.

And then open it up and place your business cards inside. Not only will you have a handy business card holder but also a great conversation starter to get people more interested in your business.

I can’t wait to use my card holder. This cute isn’t it.
