Here is a  brief summary of the book.
Diego Montiago Jr. was groomed to run the largest criminal organization in both the United States and Mexico by the kingpin of the syndicate himself, who also happens to be his uncle. With no conscience or remorse he becomes a true killer with a reputation that keeps most people at a distance. The betrayal of his high school sweetheart sends Diego into a tailspin, which causes him never to expect love to be a feasible addition to his world. During a lavish birthday party for his mother, his best friend and cousin decides to collect on an overdue debt. Little does he know that this exchange will change him forever.   In book four of the series Diego Jr. continues to protect his family and fill the shoes of the former Mexican Godfather, Diego Montiago Sr. His real father, who is the kingpin of the rival organization, begins his deceitful attack, causing Diego to choose his allegiance. The organization engulfs his life and the lives of those around him as the siblings begin to realize that things are not even close to what they appear to be. Will love find Diego Montiago after all? Only time will tell.

I was already a big fan of this series and I could not wait for this book to  come out and when the author asked if I would like to review this book I jumped at the chance. You see I  have reviewed all of the ones in the series. You can read the review of the first three books here, Easter’s Lily, Relatively Close, and Brother Number 3. I have read and reread these books so many times that I lost count. I so love this series. I wish that they would make it into a television series, now that would be some must see TV. Can you imagine filling your television screens each week with good looking Hispanic men. That would be the hook to get people to watch and then the storyline would keep them watching. I love how Lily, the matriarch of the family is still a big part of this book even though this installment in the series is about her son Diego and how he takes over the family “business”. Yep you got to read this book but if you really want to get the whole story then you need to read the first three books before you read this one.

You can buy these books by checking out the author’s website.
