“Being brave is about being nervous or scared to do something and then doing it anyway. ” What a great thought right. Well that is the main focus of Princess Ruby’s Makeup Ballet Class.
In Princess Ruby’s Make-Up Ballet Class, Princess Ruby tackles a new and
seemingly scary situation and learns what it really means to be brave in
everyday life.
Being a mom I so know this situation. My youngest is starting a new school in the fall. Moving from elementary school to middle school can be very scary for a child. She is a little nervous. But I have learned that if I allow her nervous but reassure her that she can choose the situations that she is in. For instance today she went to a party at her friend’s house at first she did not want to attend because she is at the stage where she feels awkward. She agreed to going for a few hours but has ended up spending the night. Allowing her that freedom to choose gave her the confidence that she needed to have a good time.
This book is such a cute book and I love how Ruby is such a great character for children to identify with. So if you are looking for a great children book about bravery then this is the book for you.
