Sharing Beauty Secrets

If there is one thing I have learned from all the turmoil of this year is that sometimes you just have to get up and get dress and deal with the day as it comes. Sometimes that step to get dressed can go along way in making you feel like a human again. You know the statement you have to look good to feel good, it is so true. I am living proof of that, but along with showering and getting dressed here are some more beauty secrets you can do to make yourself feel better and look beautiful.
Watch what you drink. Now I am not saying that you shouldn’t have that glass of wine or soda at dinner but it should be just that a glass. Everything in moderation- unless it is water you are drinking. Then you can have all you want. I have noticed that when I drink more than a glass of soda a day, I feel more sluggish and I am less productive throughout the day. But on the days I am grabbing water bottle after water bottle, I am very productive between runs to the bathroom.
Also watch what you eat. Did you know that the foods you eat are reflected all throughout your body and not just in the size and weight you are? But also throughout your immune system- a healthy body reflects a beautiful body.
Use sunscreen all the time. That is what I love about most lotions and moisturizers is that now they all have some form of sunscreen included in their mixture. After all your skin is the first thing people see when they look at you so you want to make it shine.
And let’s not forget your hair. All three of my girls and I have been blessed with thick heads of hair. Remembering to give our hair a break every once in a while from heat is a must. We wash our hair and let it dry naturally whenever we can. It goes a long way to saving those locks. Also rinsing it with cold water after you shampoo goes a long way to controlling those things called frizzes. And finding a great shampoo and conditioner helps as well. Suave is one of those shampoos that we use diligently in our household. All of us love the way it leaves our hair feeling and looking soft and bouncy. More awesome than that is now they have a program called Suave Family Perks. When you sign up for this rewards program, you can submit your receipts to get points to redeem for Walmart Gift cards. Oh did I mention that this program along with Suave Hub is only available at Walmart. The Walmart Suave Hub is filled with product promotions and more beauty tips like the ones mention above. So next time you are in Walmart check out Suave Hub.

Suave is a brand that has been around for a very long time–there is a reason for that-it works and the price is right! I have used it in the past then somehow forgot about it. Thank you for the reminder. And yes, beauty does come from within.
