Save Money on Kid’s Clothes

Having two teenage girls means there are lot of clothes in our house. I have found several ways to save on all their wardrobe needs. The first thing is that I am lucky enough to have teenagers who are basically the same size so they are able to share a lot of their clothes. Next I shop yard sales. During the summer, there are garage/yard sales all the time. Many of these sales are full of clothing at extremely cheap prices. The next way to save on those clothes is to buy ahead. When you do find a great sale, buy ahead. The last tip is to avoid ruining clothes. With kids this is easier said than done. Most of the time I have found that when it is time to pass the clothes down to Gracie they are so worn out that I have to buy clothes for her. Also do not be afraid to take clothes from friends who have children that are older than yours this will save a lot of money in the long run. Just remember that only you know where you bought your children’s clothing from. And unless you go around blabbing to everyone they will never know the difference.
