My Reflections on the Real Housewives of NJ Reunion

Last night, I sat in front of my television and was mildly entertained than disgusted by what I saw on the Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion. I have been a fan of this series for years, so I was totally surprised when Teresa Giudice placed all the blame on her going to jail on Jacqueline Laurita.

Uhm Excuse me Teresa but weren’t you signing papers that your husband gave you without asking what they were for? Sorry, I don’t feel sorry for you one bit. You went to jail not camp as you call it for crimes that you and your husband committed. Martha Stewart went to jail, but you don’t hear her calling it camp. Nope, a lady with real class owns up to her mistakes and moves on with her life. She doesn’t look for someone to blame.

As I sat there listening to the nonsense coming out of Teresa’s mouth, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for those around her who go with her way of thinking. I in some way could understand Melissa’s part in all of this because in my mind I think she is trying to keep the peace so that her husband, Joe, Teresa’s brother, doesn’t have to be torn between his sister and his wife again.

But what I don’t understand is how Teresa can talk about all the wrong done to her but not once consider the wrong she has done to others? You have to look no further than her cousins Kathy and Rosie, to see how malicious she can be. During this season, when she was shown with her cousins, Teresa never once asked Kathy about her daughter Victoria who has a brain tumor. Way to make it all about yourself, Teresa.

As I am writing this I am still in shock in how delusional Teresa really is? Not only does she deny ever saying anything bad about a person, even when it is on tape, but she wants to point out what is wrong with everyone else taking the focus off of her.

I am so  #TeamJacqueline on this one. So tell me do you watch the Real Housewives of New Jersey? If so did you see the reunion?  What was your take on it?

  1. #TeamJacqueline

Teresa sounds ridiculous making those accusations against Jackie. Taking zero blame on her wrongdoings…ugh. And the blatant lying about “my husband (Joe) NEVER cheated on me” … really!? She makes a fool of herself…sad.

  2. I do watch this show, but have to DVR it so I have not seen the reunion yet. As for Teresa I agree she is in her own world and in that world T does no wrong. However, I can’t be on team Jacqueline. Jac really showed me a new side this season with her explosions and the way she talked to and about the other ladies. Honestly I am starting to get on Team Melissa. Poor thing is caught in a bad sitch.

  3. I’ve actually never watched this segment of Real Housewives. It’s always been a show I’ve never truly been able to get into, but if I catch this reunion on tv, I’ll check it out!

  4. Oh no! I am avoiding spoilers. I haven’t watched the reunion yet, but I imagine I’ll be disgusted, too. It went downhill so fast at the end of the season.

  5. I don’t really follow it because of all this crazy drama. I’ve got to admit, though, it’s quite entertaining.
