Recently, I hosted a party for my friend, Courtney who just recently started selling Origami Owl and I told her I would help her launch her new business. I was all set to run to the store to buy a ton of goodies for the guests to snack on. But before I walked out the door, UPS came with a  delivery of goodies from Newman’s Own Organic. So no need to run out the door and I was able to get multiple opinions about what they thought of the product.

Here is a little background about Newman’s Own.  Newman’s Own Organics was established as a division of Newman’s Own in 1993, and became a separate company in late 2001. The sale of Newman’s Own Organics products generates money for the Newman’s Own Foundation to give away. Since 1982 Paul Newman and the Newman’s Own Foundation have donated more than $350 million dollars to educational and charitable organizations worldwide. Now I don’t know about you even though I am a lot younger I love Paul Newman. The fact that this company was started by him and supports charities is a big plus.

I was very impressed with the amount of goodies that I received. I was able to sample just about all of their products. I will have to admit that I fell in love with their dark chocolate bars. In fact all of their chocolate bars are awesome. They come in many different varieties.

My party guests absolutely adored the crème filled cookies. We taste tested the peanut butter and chocolate flavors. They were so yummy. The chocolate flavors were my favorite. But I would not turn down the peanut butter ones if offered them. These are not the only flavors they come in. They also come in

I would be remiss if I did not mention their absolutely awesome pretzels. They are the perfect snack food as well as great to add to my daughters’ school lunches. I will admit though I did dip them in ranch dressing. I was also amazed of how many varieties of pretzels that they sell. If you don’t like the thins than you eat the twists. Just look at how many varieties there are.

Another one of our favorites were the Alphabet Cookies. As a teacher, I saw the educational opportunity that this provided for my children. Think of how cool it would be use these as study tools for that dreaded spelling test. Talk about igniting the desire to want to study and learn.

These also came in several different flavors.
