Making the master bedroom more inviting

Looking to upgrade your bedroom and make it more than just a place to sleep, here are some tips to make your master suite into the hangout place for you and your husband/wife. I have made it mission this year to upgrade and make inviting this special room. The first I did was look for bedding that was not too masculine or feminine but somewhere in the middle. Because after all, you want to make your bedroom an inviting and quiet alone time space to share with the one you love. But do not get sucked into buying a bedding set that is so expensive that you end up feeling guilty about all the money you have spent that you cannot really enjoy it. Look for bedding that is quality bedding but at a discounted price. A while back I bought bedding that was black and white print for my bedroom for $39.00 and I love it. In fact, with the money I save I was able to buy another set so that I can change out with the seasons and my mood. Because let’s face it, are we ever really satisfied with how things look in our homes? If you are anything like me, I am constantly changing things around so with several options for my bedroom, I am saving money in the long run which not only makes me happy but also not so guilty that I cannot sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor. Being the parents of two teenage girls, my hubby and I need a little break every now and then, our bedroom is our retreat. Is your bedroom your retreat?? Think of ways that you can make it more inviting and get to work, I promise it will be worth it.
