To save your knees , squeeze
Women are up to five times more likely than men to hurt their knees. The good news: You can help prevent injuries by keeping your quad muscles (on the front of your thigh) strong. The bad news: You have to do squats. We hate them too, so let’s break it down easy:
1. Place your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Lower your rear as though you’re sitting in a chair, keeping your back straight and your knees over your ankles.
3. Straighten and repeat.
For fast results, trying doing them with your eyes closed. When your brain can’t use visual cues to help with balance, your muscles have to work harder to keep you from toppling
