Journey To The Women Of Faith Part 2: The Hotel

This is the second part of the series my journey to Women Of Faith.

In my journey to the Women of Faith Conference Conference in Charlotte I was able to meet some amazing people along the way. I posted about the police officers. Well today in the next addition to this series I am going to write about the hotel we stayed in. I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Charlotte. Not knowing where exactly we were going I booked through the Women Of Faith Conference Website. Yea it might have been a little bit more than I wanted to pay but it was so worth it. From check in to check out my friend Mandy and I were treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. The desk clerk Mendez who checked us in was the friendliest person. The staff at the Crowne Plaza were one of the friendliest staffs I have ever met. They even went as far as calling and leaving a message on our phone to ask if everything was okay after we checked it. The room was incredible. We had a balcony room with a view of the courthouse go figure.

This was taken after I had already slept in the bed.
I tried to fix the bed just like they had it. But sadly I failed.

The night view from our room.

Our stay was more than I could have hoped for. When we checked out we had the same clerk who checked us in. Not only was she just as friendly at 8 in the morning as she was at 3 in the afternoon but she also remembered checking us in the day before. To me that was above and beyond my expectations. Mendez (as her name tag stated) definitely deserved a raise for all her hard work making us feel at home.

So if you are ever in the Charlotte, North Carolina area and stay at the Crowne Plaza tell the staff there that Adventures Of Frugal Mom said Hey!!!!

Now that I have told you about the people we encountered and the place we stayed look for upcoming blogs about the speakers and their incredible message.
